Fireworks Investments Limited HSE POLICY

IT IS THE POLICY OF FIREWORKS INVESTMENTS LIMITED TO TAKE ALL REASONABLE MEASURES TO SAFEGUARD THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF ITS EMPLOYEES AND OTHER PERSONS WHO MAY BE ASSOCIATED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY WITH COMPANY OPERATIONS.

TO FULFILL THIS POLICY THEREFORE, MANAGEMENT RESOLVES TO:

  • DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN SAFE WORK METHODS AND COMPLY STRICTLY WITH INTERNATIONAL RULES, REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS.
  • MAINTAIN A GOOD RAPPORT WITH OUR HOST COMMUNITIES THROUGH THEIR DULY NOMINATED REPRESENTATIVES AND OR LEADERS FOR PROJECTS TO BE EMBARKED UPON IN THEIR DOMAIN.
  • SERVICING OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT WOULD BE DONE TO INTERNATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, REFILLING / TESTING DISCHARGING, ETC. SHALL BE DONE IN OPEN SPACES SO AS TO REDUCE RESPIRATORY INFECTION WHILE AT THE SAME TIME TAKING ALL ENIRONMENTAL LAWS INTO CONSIDERATION.
  • APPROPRIATE P.P.E. REQUIRED FOR THE SAFE EXECUTION OF JOB WILL BE PROVIDED AND EMPLOYEES SHALL USE AND MAINTAIN THEM.
  • NEW EMPLOYEES (PERSONNEL) SHALL BE REFRESHED OR TRAINED BEFORE DEVELOPMENT TO WORK SITES.
  • COMPANY PERSONNEL MUST BE CONVERSANT WITH THE CLIENT’S SAFETY RULES, EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES, ETC.
  • NEAR MISSES (INCIDENTS) MUST BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY SO THAT MEASURES TO PREVENT FUTURE OCCURRENCES AND ACCIDENTS WOULD BE DEVELOPED AND FAULTS RECTIFIED.
  • TOOLBOX MEETING / SAFETY TALKS SHALL BE CONDUCTED BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF WORK ON SITE EACH DAY.
  • COMPANY PERSONNEL SHALL DEMONSTRATE A HIGH SENSE OF DISCIPLINE WHILE WORKING ON SITES, SO AS TO PREVENT MISHAPS AND DISPUTES.
  • HORSEPLAY DURING WORKING OURS IS PROHIBITED.
  • ENSURE THAT OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES OF MACHINERY ARE ADHERED TO.
  • ALL INSTRUMENT / EQUIPMENT GUARDS AND OTHER SAFETY PROTECTIVE DEVICES PROVIDED ARE TO BE SECURED SUCH THAT THEY DO NOT PRESENT RISK TO THE USER.
  • EMPLOYEES SHOULD USE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS OR ANY OTHER PERSONNEL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ONLY WHEN REQUIRED.
  • EMPLOYEES SHOULD NOT USE ANY EQUIPMENT, WHICH THEY ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH ITS OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE, UNTIL PROPER TRAINING IS GIVING.
  • ALL ACCIDENTS NO MATTER HOW MINOR SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE SAFETY OFFICER WHO WILL TAKE RECORD AND OTHER ADEQUATE MEASURES.
  • NO SMOKING RULES SHALL BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO WHEREVER APPLICABLE.
  • NO ALCOHOL CONSUMTION ON WORK SITES ESPECIALLY DURING WORKING HOURS.
  • EMPLOYEE SHALL NOT WORK UNDER SUSPENDED LOADS.
